Anadolu Agency's third international photo contest offering expanded range of award categories for 2017
Anadolu Agency's third Istanbul Photo Awards challenge began to acknowledge applications on Tuesday. The current year's opposition sees an extended scope of classes, from four to eight.
The four new classes incorporate nature-environment single, nature-environment story, representation single and picture different.
In the challenge, a $3,000 Young Photographer honor will be given surprisingly to a victor less than 28 years old.
A different $10,000 honor will be given to the champ of the Photo of the Year. Champs in different classifications will be given $8,000 for first prize, $5,000 for second and $3,000 for third.
Turkish Airlines supports the challenge which will likewise be upheld by the Turkish Prime Ministry's Promotion Fund and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
The aftereffects of the challenge will be reported before the finish of March one year from now.
A year ago, picture takers Abd Doumany, whose picture of a harmed Syrian kid was picked as Photo of the Year by a worldwide jury and Sergey Ponomarev, who caught pictures of outcasts landing at a Greek island, won the single news class and later a Pulitzer Prize.
Shanghai Center of Photography Director Liu Heung Shing, Getty Images official Georges De Keerle, AFP Photo Business Development Director Michel Scotto and also Guillaume Herbaut, a World Press Photo prizewinner, were among a year ago's jury individuals.

The jury of the third Istanbul Photo Awards 2017 - the universal news and games photography challenge sorted out by Anadolu Agency - will gloat widely acclaimed editors, distributers, and photojournalists.
Among the world-acclaimed jury individuals are Marion Mertens, computerized editorial manager of French newsweekly Paris Match; NOOR organization photojournalist Yuri Kozyrev; Getty Images Australian picture taker Cameron Spencer; Istanbul Photo Awards 2016 victor Sergey Ponomarev, who won a Pulitzer Prize for pictures of evacuees touching base at a Greek island; Anadolu Agency Visual News Editor Ahmet Sel; and Anadolu Agency Photography Editor Firat Yurdakul.
